ESPN Radio back on the air
A sports radio station that's been off the air since Saturday was restored Tuesday.High floodwaters knocked ESPN Radio 1300 AM off the air Saturday and an attempt to get back on the air Monday only lasted two hours.Though the water was down by Tuesday, radio personnel still needed to be escorted in a boat by members of the Sugar Creek Fire Department to safely get to the site, according to a Crossroads Communication news release.The tower, near the Wabash River on the west side of Terre Haute, is one of two operated by ESPN radio. APPLE MAC users are more likely to be open minded and liberal than the rest of the population, according to research conducted in the run-up to the Macworld Expo in San Francisco this week. Britney's parents fear for her safety
Britney Spears' parents have said they fear for her life after she was released early from a hospital psychiatric ward. Her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, released a joint statement saying they were "extremely disappointed" and that their daughter's life had been put at risk and said they wanted the courts to intervene so "a tragedy may be averted". Britney had been in hospital for six days following increasingly erratic behaviour.
